The HEROMAT project offers a sustainable solution for the protection of cultural heritage objects which in turn will bring socio-economic benefits.
The multidisciplinary research project will explore ways for developing innovative, environmentally friendly materials with added value functions aimed at protecting immovable Cultural Heritage assets. Therefore, the goal of the proposed project is to improve the overall condition of a monument as well as its resistance to deterioration. This would allow it to remain functional and maintain its aesthetic appearance for a longer period of time.
